I love the beach and believe that photography magic happens there! The interplay of light and color make the coastline my first-choice location for making beautiful photographs. Having grown up in Southern California, the beach has always been the backdrop of my life. My fondest childhood memories are of my mom loading all of us kids into the Plymouth, along with a blanket and picnic basket filled with sandwiches, and heading to Zuma Beach for the day. The smell of Coppertone still takes me back! Today, me and my family are blessed to call Huntington Beach home. Although I am trained as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my photography seems to have a life all of its own. When my daughter sang with a professional children’s choir, I worked as the staff photographer establishing a strong social media presence for the group. Now that my daughter is in college I have turned the focus of my lens to our beautiful, local coastline.
